We are pleased to announce that two lawyers have recently joined the growing team at Kinley Legal.
Lindsey Wylie joins the firm as a Senior Associate specialising in immigration law and practice, as well as working on a range of other private client matters. She is a practising Solicitor in England and Wales, and a Registered Legal Practitioner in the Isle of Man.
Prior to joining Kinley Legal in January 2021, Lindsey practised for several years in the UK at Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy, working with international clients on complex litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigation matters. Her new role at Kinley Legal will enable her to continue working with international corporate and individual clients, particularly those moving to the Isle of Man from South Africa, where Lindsey originally trained and practised as an Attorney.
Kinley Legal is also pleased to welcome Damian Ciappelli, an Isle of Man advocate who has recently returned to the Island, having worked overseas in Luxembourg in the offshore life assurance sector. Damian will be a Consultant Advocate and will bring his international experience specialising in commercial, contractual and regulatory aspects of offshore assurance operations and data protection practice. He will also advise our clients on the legal impact of prospective legislation and regulatory policy.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Lindsey and Damian to the team” said Christopher Kinley, Managing Director of Kinley Legal, “Their involvement will help us work with many more clients as a leading Isle of Man immigration law firm, as well as expanding our ability to help clients with specialised needs involving assurance law, data protection, legislation and policy.“
