Immigration in the time of COVID-19

New notarial capabilities
15/06/2020Friday 12 June 2020 was originally set to be a public holiday in the Isle of Man, but due to the cancellation of the TT motorcycle races this year, the Isle of Man Government decided to postpone the holiday.
Even so, Kinley Legal will be closed on 12 June 2020, to recognise the hard work our people have put in during the last three months, during which restrictive rules and guidance have led to some major changes in how we work and what our clients need from us.
While many areas of our life have suffered during the restrictions, the rule of law has suffered more than most, and law firms and their people have received little or no assistance from the Isle of Man Government.
This has led to a wider consideration of how Kinley Legal will work in future to best serve our clients.
We have decided to change our usual working hours to 1000 to 1800, Monday to Thursday. We will no longer normally be available for meetings or calls on Fridays, to allow us some time to focus on drafting tasks and other projects. Where a document needs to be issued specifically on a Friday, for instance a legal opinion for a property transaction, we will continue to do this.
Rest assured, we will still be working hard to assist our clients, both during the current restrictions and beyond. Contact us now and see how we can work together.
